this would most probably be the last post of nm3208.

NUS and CNM movie were a blast i think. I’m so proud of my group! Thanks to our boss Ng WEE HUA for being the perfectionist and thus the ability to deliver the movie of the module. I don’t care whether if that’s what Dr julian thinks but that’s what i feel. We had heaps of NG scenes and there’s a scene(which wasn’t put inside the video) that i would laugh at everytime i see it. We initially had a scene that shows the change in my shoes from heels to track shoes at the stadium. At the day, we tried all sorts of way to do that until an idea stuck me. Eugene can be my leg too! coz….hahah a secret..i think  everyone who’s reading this must have lots of question marks on top of their heads. Maybe i would put the scene inside my portfolio just for laughs.

For the CNM video, i think a big THANK YOU to Ms kristin Saw is needed. It wouldn’t be possible without her help. She was so kind and helpful. Even helped us carried our tripod stand. And she had to meet us another day coz the first meeting didn’t went as planned. The second meeting, we overshot the time she gave us and we were so so sorry. She met us during her lunch break and we took the whole of her lunch break. She was more than willing to move around with us, from indoors to outdoors.

The post productions for both movies were a nightmare. And believe me, this is an understatement of the year. Countless nights in the playroom. Just like our second home.

After living in nightmares for the both movie, i dare not be over ambitious for the heroes mov. Just a simple play with 2 superpower.

Tomorrow’s the submission for the portfolio and th nightmare that has lasted for so long will stopped. Finally. I’m just joking. Actually, i have mixed feelings about this module.

If the assignments were lesser or the assignments can be based 1-2 software maybe the load will be much more lighter but the challenge would not be there though.

when julian mention about the heavy workload in the start of the module, i was wondering ‘how heavy would it get’ and now i REALISE the heaviness he was trying to convey.

i’ve been staying in school till wee hours ever since the first assignment. Never in my past 3 years have i experience a module like that. Well it’s definitely fun learning new things but there’s hell lot of things/programs/languages to pick up. I kept procrastinating learning premiere and after effects. Alas, i’ve no choice. These last 3 assignments require these 2 programs.

it’s sunday and guess what. we’re filming the scenes for the NUS movie. So sad!

it’s a 30-45 seconds commercial with the aim of conveying the message: ” NUS unleash the potential in you”.

We wanted to do a running scene at the tracks but a heavy rain is imminent.

haven’t been updating diligently because of the overwhelming assignments.

i was reluctant to use after effects for this assignment because there’s so much that i can do with that program. I know that when i’m spolit for choice, coming up with a final decision will be a hell. Thus, decided to use movie maker instead, but i realise it’s not even half of what after effects offer.

Just when i happily wanted to upload the video, my laptop died on me. And guess what? i didn’t back up the final video for NUS and CNM AND the photos for CNM movie. i was panicking like mad. But i got down to work and finished up the final video for NUS on sunday.

CSS over? Dream on!

My eyes are bursting out as i’m typing this entry. I’ve spent 10 hours looking at my laptop’s screen, editting photos and sketches for the website. I decided to do a theme closest to me which is ‘sports’. So i asked my friend, NUS handball player if she has any competitions or even trainings so that i can take some photos. To my delightment, there’s no competitions or trainings but there’s IHG(basketball semi-finals)! So i took over 100 photos in a hour match. I could have taken more but i’m so engrossed in the gameplay that i could’nt raise my camera in time when there’s a nice move. But wells, it’s been nice getting involve with something that i’ve lost touch for some time. There’s a tinge of regret though, taking activities! cause i have to keep adjustin the aperture, shutter speed, ISO so that the pictures look nice.
